The Scientific Reviews of the Judge Kunha and Justice Kumarasamy Judgements yielded a lot of enlightening information regarding the flaws in the case, right from the complaint stage, including investigation, prosecution witness and assessment, indicating that the entire case has been set up and the defendant Dr. J. Jayalalitha has been falsely implicated and imprisoned. Subsequently at the High Court, the defendant was acquitted of all charges.

However, appeals were filed at the Supreme Court against the acquittal.

The defendant Dr. J. Jayalalitha filed response to the Supreme Court.

The points raised as defense by the defendant Dr. J. Jayalalitha & submitted to the Supreme Court relates to the points raised in the Scientific Reviews of the Judge Kunha and Justice Kumarasamy Judgements, amounting to endorsement of the Scientific Reviews of the Judge Kunha and Justice Kumarasamy Judgements by the defendant Dr. J.
